Is a renowned litigator with an impressive track-record of favorable awards and judicial decisions. He advised on international commercial and investment arbitration under all the major international arbitration rules before leading international arbitration institutions, including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) and Romanian Court of International Commercial Arbitration as well as ad hoc and UNCITRAL arbitrations.

Cristian assisted clients on a plethora of competition law cases (abuse of dominant position, price fixing, market sharing, customer allocation, export and import bans, product removal, bid rigging, state aid, economic concentrations) during both investigation and court challenge of the competition authority decisions.

In addition, he assisted clients in public procurement and regulatory-related litigation.

He has broad experience in managing complex disputes and teams with different business specialists and experts in key business sectors such as energy, oil&gas, telecom.

He is a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2000.
