Is a business lawyer with post-qualification experience both in private practice and top management positions in multinational corporations in highly regulated industries such as oil&gas, financial services, healthcare, FMCG.

She has extensive experience in corporate, compliance and regulatory, design of internal procedures, crisis and change management.

She has managed the team of lawyers advising on an offshore marine terminal construction project with a CAPEX of USD150 million, the first project of its kind in Romania.

She has assisted major oil & gas companies in public bidding procedures with the National Agency for Mineral Resources.

She has assisted during the competition authority’s investigations and dawn raids and subsequent court challenges of the competition authority s decisions.

She has advised organizations during negotiations of draft legislation with various Romanian authorities and subsequent successful court challenges of resulting legislation.

She also has an extensive experience in the employment area of practice e.g. personnel restructuring, negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, challenge of dismissal decisions and assessment reports, contractual and non-contractual liability etc.

She also acts as a certified trademark and design attorney and authorized mediator.

Oana holds an LL.M. (European Business Law) from the Universities of Barcelona, Bologna, LUISS GUIDO CARLI Rome, Essex, Lyon III, Konstanz and Nijmegen (PALLAS Consortium, then hosted by Nijmegen, the Netherlands), an EMBA (General Management) from Bled School of Management and an LL.B. from Bucharest University.

She is a member of the Bucharest Bar since 1996.
